Project 3

Interaction metaphors
Metaphors:
Scrolling:
Slide forward – sliding the key of the glasses when checking on notifications or messages can be made a metaphor, as it is the same as scrolling using your mouse, or even sliding with your phone screen. Sliding forward means to go upwards.
Slide backwards – Similarly, sliding backwards can be the same as scrolling down using a mouse or sliding down with your phone. Sliding down means to go downwards.

Volume level:
Volume up – the arrow pointing up on the button symbolize ‘to add up’, meaning to increase something, which in this case, to increase our audio volume level.
Volume down – Similarly, the arrow pointing down means to decrease the level of volume.

Messages:
Message icon – Showing a picture of an envelope, as it is the general symbol of communications and it is used in many other messaging platforms.
Closed envelope – Depicts that a message has not yet been read.
Opened envelope – Depicts that a message has been seen or read.

Music player:
Player icon – Showing a musical note, the general symbol of music and songs. It is a good metaphor for a music player.

Using navigations:
Navigation icon – Symbolized by a pinpoint symbol, showing a position, which in the context of navigations, is a destination or our current location.
